Description: Almost as tall as an Aiel, Hanzen's topknot places him from Shienar. Hanzen does not look to be the normal Shienaran soldier though. His clothing is more suited to the forest and so are his golden eyes. With black hair typical of the borderlands, Hanzen spends much time in the forests. His sharp blade is followed by a strong arm and a white wolf at his side.

Role: The original wolfbrother of the party, Hanzen left for a while on his own quest. He left Shade in the care of Will and disappeared. When he returned, he brought with him a white wolf and a better understanding of his origins. He has since left the group again, now protecting the wilderness of his original time period with his old wolfmate, Shade. Winter was left in the past and has yet to be found again in the present.
